On Sunday, May 10, our 13 athletes from 6 area high schools competed as part of the Guelph Rowing Club entries in the annual Mother’s Day Regatta in St. Catharines, Ontario. There were over 40 teams from southern Ontario and the US participating. Jack Raso from GCVI won the first-place medal in the Junior Men Single event. A crew consisting of Siri Borden, Sasha Maksym, Molly Bain and Erum Khan, all from GCVI won the third-place medal in the Senior Women Quadruple Sculls event.
Peter Morrow and Aariz Noor Wang qualified for the final in the Junior Men Double event.
