How to use the calendar:
To show or hide different types of events, click the select calendar icon to the left of the month button at the top right. A list of calendars will appear. Check or uncheck the options to display or hide each event group.
Modified Cold Water Rules are Now in Effect

As of April 30, the lake’s temperature has risen to 11°C — we are now in Modified Cold Water Rules.
What that means:
Novice and less experienced rowers (3 years or less experience):
- Must be accompanied by a motorized safety boat
- One safety boat covers a maximum of 9 athletes (8+) or up to 4 smaller boats, with total athletes not exceeding 9
- Shells must remain within 200 metres of the safety boat
Experienced rowers (more than 3 years of recent rowing experience and proficient oarsmanship):
- May row without a motorized safety boat
- The entire crew must be comprised of experienced rowers
- Must be accompanied by another shell of experienced rowers (buddy system)
- Must stay within the 1,000m buoy and the dam
- If accompanied by a coach boat, may row out to the 2,000m buoy
Please continue to dress for the conditions — the water is still cold, and layers plus a dry change of clothes are always a good idea.
