Warm Water Rules
The lake’s temperature is above the 15 degree point so we are in Warm Water Rules. The latest temperature of Guelph Lake is above 15 degrees Celsius which means we are now in warm water rules! Cold Water Rules
The lake’s temperature is below 10 degree point so we are in Cold Water Rules. Cold Water Rules mean that all rowers must be accompanied by a motorized safety boat. One safety boat will be responsible for a maximum of 9 athletes (8+) or a maximum of 4 smaller boats where the number of athletes cannot exceed 9. Shells must remain within 200 meters of the safety boat. It is also important to bring appropriate layers to row in and packing dry clothes to change in to can be helpful!
